Who Chooses the Title Company?

Business practices vary from state to state and even from region to region.  In general, the sales contract will dictate who selects the title company.  In Central Florida customarily the seller pays for the owner's title policy therefore; the seller will choose the title company. However, the buyer is able to choose if it is negotiated in the contract with the seller.  Contact a local Realtor for more information.
